Divine Strake -- temporary victory?
We had a small but solid vigil here in Salt Lake City in solidarity with the International Day of action taking place at the Nevada Test Site. The latest news is that the Divine Strake test is "indefinitely" postponed. No doubt the pressure of a lawsuit and major opposition to this test around the country encouraged more environmental testing by officials. I for one won't breathe easier until this test is cancelled and not merely postponed.
