FEATURE: Carnival of the Green

from City Hippy :

City Hippy & TriplePundit are delighted to announce the launch of the Carnival of the Green.

The Carnival of the Green will travel from blog to blog on a weekly basis, like a real carnival. Inspiration came from the Carnival of the Capitalists.

Each week, on mondays, a green blog will host the carnival and will provide, in one single and probably large post, a digest of the posts other green bloggers have submitted for consideration during the previous week (friday to friday).

Each carnival will also have a link to the previous and next carnival hosts as well as a link back to this Launch post (either on City Hippy or Triple Pundit or both if you like).

SUBMITTING POSTS
To submit a post for consideration (do not submit content - just a link to your post), please email carnivalofgreen@gmail.com with the link.

Oh! I just posted this on my blog, too! I didn't see yours. Cool. I did see that you are hosting Dec 12. I have applied for Dec. 19.

Green Blogs

I guess you wouldn't consider mine a "green blog" would you?
probably not. Hey we all want clean air and water, and free but fair trade. it's just the way we go about it that we disagree. (c8

Re: Green Blogs

Oops I didn't even tell you who I was in the last post.
This is Ken from Oblogatory Anecdotes http://brutus1964.blogspot.com

Re: Green Blogs

Well Ken, I can't say as I've read enough of your blog to be certain if it's a "green" blog or not.

You do seem to support a lot of Repulican ideas, and Republican leaders have a very poor record on enviromental protection. I won't go as far as to say that all Republicans don't care about the environment. In fact many do, they just aren't aware that those they elect have a definite conflict of interest when it comes to environmental protection.

Re: Green Blogs

Here's a thought provoking article by one of Utah's leading environmenatlists, Chip Ward, discussing Bush's "Holy War" on the environment http://www.catalystmagazine.net/issues/story.cfm?story=717
